Yellow
Pumps
Today I wore yellow
pumps! There, I've said it, and I'm certainly not
ashamed of myself. I recently picked up a pair of Pierre Dumas
Bridget open toe pumps and I absolutely love them.

Why I
Love Yellow Pumps
Until a couple of years
ago I was a bit of a prude. No, it's true. I'd only wear
subtle and neutral colors. Red pumps
were my most outspoken gesture to the world. I don't know
why, but I didn't like to stand out in a crowd. Buy after
watching a television program about a well known actress,
I changed.......overnight.
Since then I have found vibrant, beautiful clothing that
begs to be worn, and lightens up your life, and that of those
around you. Yellow pumps are my latest
acquisition and they make me feel alive.
If you are an outgoing girl, or want to try something a bit
different, you'll find that pumps are a really great style of
shoe, for almost any occasion, formal or casual. Closed toe,
peep toe, t-strap pumps? These and many other styles are
available for any price range. I tend to favor great looking
shoes that don't cost the earth and like to go online to
compare before shopping, it means that I can have more
pairs.
I tend to wear these yellow pump shoes with jeans and a
sweater of hoodie. Sound odd? Well, for me, I can dress up any
item of clothing with these yellow beauties. They stand out
like a sore thumb poking their pointy little noses out from
under my boot cut jeans.
The Pierre
Dumas yellow pumps
shoes that I got (that's them on the right) set me back a
measly $45 on Amazon
. Check them out for yourself here. They are a
synthetic upper with a glossy faux patent finish. I love the
yellow patent pump look. The heel is pretty high at 4
1/2 inches so make sure you're up to it. I've been pretty
much living in these yellow high heels.
I've found them to be really comfortable, and the build
quality is pretty impressive for such a budget pair of shoes.
Pierre Dumas does a lot of different colors and styles, so
check his shoe line out, you won't be disappointed. I really
like a good suede pump, and Steve Madden also does a great line
in yellow platform pumps, worth looking out for.
Last season yellow pumps, and in fact yellow shoes in
general were the HOT item. And the great thing is that the
retailers aren't just touting them as a prom or party shoe,
their showing that this can be good, and extremely cool, urban
footwear. So what else would I buy in YELLOW.
Yellow sandals are great. I saw a nice pair of yellow
Seychelles Hullabaloo sandals in the high street, and nearly
bought them. They are quite glamorous, with a massive 4 /1/4
inch wedge heel and some amazing 1" platform soles. They had
these amazing earthy accents and delicate straps, which really
offset those yellow heels. I am also a massive fan of Christian
Louboutin designer pumps shoes, not cheap, but awesome.
My Next
Yellow Pumps Purchase
I've decided!!! John
Fluevog Gracias T-Strap Yellow Pumps are going to
be my next buy. I really love these and hope you will too.
The cost between $110 - 200 USD, depending on where you
get them. Leather, with a rubber sole, this yellow pump
rocks. And check out the 2" heel....awesome!
They are a kind of vintage retro-modern shoe with a padded
insole and are reported to be extremely comfortable, as well as
stylish. Fluevog founded his business in 1970 and has been in
the shoe business for long enough to know how to create a great
shoe. His slingbacks and mid heels are things of
wonder. Check these out on
Amazon of you like the look of
them
SO, you might well have realised that I am having a yellow
moment, which every brunette (and blonde) is entitled to. If
you want to try a new style and look vibrant and
alive, buy yellow pumps.
