Purple Pumps

I want purple pumps. Problem is, I'm as yet, a but undecided on what to get. I've been checking some designs out on Google Images, and some of them are amazing. But I've been buying so many shoes recently, I just can't make my mind up.

My Favorite Purple Pumps

Ok, so here's the deal. These are some of the purple pumps for women that I really like, but with so much choice from online shoe retailers and the high street stores, I'm really struggling to choose.

The color purple is such a versatile color, that it can't really fail to look good, whenever, or whatever, you where it with. You'll find purple in many seasonal variations, from lavender to lilac, and in violet and plum colors. You wouldn't necessarily think of it as a shade of nature, but it is, and it has played a huge role in womens fashion for a long time.

Did you know that in the Chinese culture, purple is a lucky color. relating to prosperity and wealth. It also symbolises the color of royalty. It's such a seductive color, that it is hardly surprising that it's become one of the most inspired fashion colors over the last few years, especially for shoes. Purple dress shoes have all the inspiration of red pumps, and are being worn by all the top celebrities.

And there's more. Almost ANYONE will look good in purple shoes, or any other purple attire come to mention it. It's one of those colors that transcends personal traits and in keeping with the royal theme, makes you look like a million dollar princess.

I love purple for all those reasons, but finding my perfect purple pumps shoes is not going to be easy. I love the look of purple boots, purple suede pumps and purple heels, but have a little anxiety about getting the right pair. I spend so much on shoes, but still want the 'perfect pair'.

So I went over to amazon.com and headed straight for the purple pumps section . It's surprising how many of the top brands like Steve Madden, Jesscia Simpson and Sergio Rossi produce some really nice purple shoes. The Vivienne Westwood AngloMania Melissa shoe is one of the bestsellers, but unfortunately ,not my style or price range. These two are now on my shortlist.

BCBGeneration Women's Flash Pumps

I spotted these first, and they seem to have some good customer reviews. People like them and that is a good start for me. they cost between $30 - 80 USD, depending on the deal you can get, and I reckon this is pretty good value. They are real leather with a manmade sole. The heel is not too high at just 3 3/4 inches.

Most of the reviews seemed to comment on how comfortable they were, and a good fit too. Words like 'sexy', 'comfortable', and 'love them' are what I am looking for when buying shoes. When you buy online, it's never easy to be certain about the comfort and quality, so user reviews help me a lot.

Bordello by Pleaser Women's Teeze Pumps

The second pair I am considering are Bordello by Pleaser Women's Teeze Pumps . these cost a bit more at around $80-90, but they are very 'ME'. These have a tall and curvy hidden platform, so you can gain some height without it being too obvious. These have an incredible 5 3/4 inch heel, so not really good for doing the gardening! They also have a shaft that can be added to the shoe to create a boot, so pretty versatile too.

These ones don't have many customer reviews, but the pictures look good and I'd be happy to chance these, they are just SO stylish.

Oh dear, I've spotted something else. These Miss Me Jocelyn Platform Pumps are lovely. They are purple suede pumps and have a 5" heel. These are a peep toe pump with a nice ribbon bloom on the vamp. They are now added to my shortlist.
